Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Volume Lash Extensions.

Most clients enjoy Volume Lash Extensions for about two to four weeks before natural shedding causes visible gaps. We recommend refills every two to three weeks to preserve fullness, adjusting timing to your natural lash cycle and lifestyle.

When applied by our trained technicians using lightweight fans and low-fume adhesives, Volume Lash Extensions are safe for most clients. We advise a patch test for sensitive eyes and use gentle products. Proper application and aftercare minimize risk to your natural lashes.

A full set of Volume Lash Extensions typically takes 90 to 150 minutes depending on desired volume and natural lash density. Infills are shorter, usually 45 to 75 minutes. A consultation is included to customize curl, length, and thickness.

Mascara isn't necessary with Volume Lash Extensions because of built-in volume, but if you choose to wear it use a water-based, extension-safe formula applied only at the tips. Avoid oil-based mascaras and waterproof formulas that can break down adhesive.

Avoid water, steam, and heavy sweating for the first 24 to 48 hours so adhesive can fully cure. Gently brush daily, avoid oil-based products, sleep on your back, and schedule regular refills to maintain fullness and lash health.

When professionally applied with appropriately weighted fans, Volume Lash Extensions should not damage natural lashes. Damage usually results from overly heavy sets, poor application, or improper removal. Regular fills, gentle care, and professional removal protect natural lash integrity.
