Most clients experience mild discomfort similar to light scratching. Topical numbing creams and gels are applied before and during the procedure to minimize sensation. Our artists monitor comfort throughout, reapplying numbing as needed to ensure a calm, tolerable experience.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, blood-thinning medications, and intense sun exposure for 24–72 hours prior. Skip chemical peels, retinoids, and waxing near brows for several days. Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows. Follow your artist's specific pre-care instructions to ensure optimal pigment retention.
Initial healing takes 7–14 days with scabbing and color darkening. Full pigment settles over 4–6 weeks. Keep brows dry, avoid heavy sweating, sun, and swimming. Apply recommended ointment sparingly and attend your 6–8 week touch-up to perfect shape and color.
Great candidates want fuller, natural-looking brows and have realistic expectations. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding clients, those with certain skin conditions, keloid scarring, or active infections.
