Get answers to common questions about Half Leg Waxing.
Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks; individual hair cycles vary. Regular appointments every four to six weeks keep regrowth manageable and maintain consistent smoothness for the lower or upper half of the legs.
Trim hair to about a quarter-inch if needed, arrive with clean, dry skin, and avoid heavy creams or oils. Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours beforehand and skip blood-thinning medications or recent sun exposure.
You may feel quick, sharp tugs and mild discomfort, but sensation subsides fast. Pain varies by tolerance and area; techniques like steady breathing, numbing creams, or scheduling around your cycle can help minimize sensitivity.
Shaving removes the hair shaft and will interfere with waxing results. If you shave, allow regrowth to at least a quarter-inch (about two to three weeks) so the wax can grip hair at the root properly.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Wear loose clothing, use a soothing gel or fragrance-free moisturizer, and gently exfoliate after 48 hours to reduce ingrown hairs.
Postpone waxing if you have sunburn, open wounds, active skin infections, severe varicose veins, recent chemical peels, or are using strong retinoids or blood thinners. Consult our therapist if you’re pregnant or have medical concerns before booking.
