Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Whole Leg Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles, skin type and aftercare. Regular waxing can extend intervals as hair becomes finer; schedule maintenance appointments accordingly.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first appointments. Our therapists use temperature-controlled wax, professional technique, and calming pre- and post-wax products to reduce pain. Breathing techniques and short breaks also help ease sensitivity.

Ensure hair is at least a quarter inch long, exfoliate gently two days before, avoid moisturizers on the day, and arrive with clean skin. Inform us of medications or skin conditions beforehand.

Sensitive skin can usually be waxed with gentle products; a patch test is recommended. Clients with active varicose veins, open sores or blood clotting disorders should consult their doctor and tell us before treatment.

You should stop shaving and allow hair to grow to roughly a quarter inch, typically two to four weeks depending on growth rate. This length ensures the wax can grip hair effectively for removal.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise and sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours. Use soothing aloe or recommended lotions, exfoliate gently after three days to prevent ingrown hairs, and book follow-up appointments.
